قال الشيخ #ابن_عثيمين :
ينبغي للإنسان أن يغتنم عمره بصالح الأعمال لأنه سوف يندم إذا جاءه الموت إن أمضى ساعة من دهره لا يتقرب بها إلى الله عز وجل كل ساعة تمضي عليك وأنت لا تتقرب إلى الله بها فهي خسارة فانتهز الفرصة بالصلاة والذكر وقراءة القرآن.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:
A person should make the most of his life [engaged] in good deeds, otherwise he will regret it when death comes to him.
[So] if he spent an hour of his life not drawing near to Allaah (‘Azza wa Jall) , [then] every hour that passes you – and with it you do not draw close to Allaah – is a grave loss.
So seize the opportunity [of life by engaging] in prayer, dhikr and reading the qur.aan.
