Shaykh Dr. ‘Aasim al-Qaryooti said:
as-Salaam ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu.
He was born yesterday, [and we welcomed the] blessing of the birth, and all Praise is due to Allaah for safety and protection.
And today, indeed we are from Allaah, and indeed to Him we shall return. May Allaah have mercy upon those whom you have lost.
And this is how the [life of this] world is.
Sufficient is death as an admonisher O son of Aadam.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
«Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter» Saheeh Muslim 976
I ask Allaah for a good ending for myself and you [all].
